My weekend in a nutshell...

Unfortunately, I didn't cook a THING this whole weekend...Not even toast!!! This was defenitly RARE.

I had an MRI done on Friday and had to be sedated because of my claustrophobia, therefore the majority of my afternoon was spent sleeping and I couldn't muster up the energy to cook, so we went out...then Saturday morning I had to run Matt to the Chevy dealer to pick up his truck...so I treated myself to a long over due pedicure and got my Tahoe detailed....60 dollars later...and I didn't even get it waxed! Talk about a rip off! In Texas, where my parents spend half the year, a guy comes to the office... hand washes, waxes and does the inside for somewhere around $17. Still trying to figure that one out...

But anyways, later on that afternoon, we met up with some friends and went to the Dowagiac Ice Fest and took part in the chili crawl where we basically bar hopped all afternoon, tested chili and ended the evening with 4 large pizza's and a dance party in our living room! If you have not tried Just Dance for Wii, YOU.ARE.MISSING.OUT!!!
I have video but will spare my husband the embarrassment
We had a big shin dig for the Bears/Packers game a couple weekends ago so for the Super Bowl, we went to a party at the local bar in town...$25 all you can eat/drink while the game is on...was just too hard to pass up.

I am heading to the dentist, yet again, but I promise to be back later today with something delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Until then...
Have a fabulous day!

Wow! That is some weekend!!!
I love the chili crawl and the dancing in your living room (wish I could see video!). Sometimes food bloggers just need the weekend off from cooking from time to time. That sounds like a good weekend to me!
